The Tao of Kevin Durant

We all know that Kevin Durant is good. He is the reigning scoring champion in the NBA. He led the Oklahoma Thunder to the playoffs last season and then led Team USA to its first gold medal in the FIBA World Championships since 1994. So how does he do it? What are his training techniques that make him a well oiled scoring machine? He is already off to a good start on the season, though the Thunder are not, and is averaging 27.7 points and seven rebounds per game. Luckily for us, the fan, video has leaked of Durant’s training method. Take a look:

“A superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions.” – Confucius

Kevin Durant epitomizes just that. He will continue to get better and remain modest and humble. Maybe these new training techniques will help the Thunder improve on their 3-3 start. Durant and Russell Westbrook cannot carry the team alone.
